About Us
Established in 1996, JL Sports Consultation Services is the premier training service provider for grappling and personal protection programmes for children from as young as 4 years. Many of our young talents actively compete in local and regional competitions, and are ranked amongst the top in their respective divisions. We also conduct adult programmes for public and private organisations.
Our team of highly motivated instructors & trainers are specialists in their respective fields geared towards providing participants with a holistic learning experience. Our instructors regularly undergo fitness and coaching courses locally and abroad.

To better serve the need of our clients, we operate the Budo Academy, a modern self-contained training facility, complete with air-conditioning and layered regulation safety impact mats to provide optimal learning in a safe and conducive environment.
The Budo Academy can comfortably accommodate up to 40 adults and is also available for corporate, private group and team building activities. Personal training & small group sessions are also available upon request. |
Our Division

Jagsport oversees activities and events to complement regular training. Our services include organizing competitions, training camps, workshops and overseas trips; and instructor certification and continuation training in a number of systems. We also develop and distribute our own range of uniforms and training equipment to meet the training needs of our clients. |

Our sister company, Samurai Sports LLP, provides weaponry training and specializes in Chanbara (padded weaponry). Covering short, medium and long range weaponry training, these programmes allow participants to experience all the rigors of weapons sparring without fear of pain or injury. Traditional wood and steel training is also available. |

Addressing all the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) training, Kreation Jits applies tried and tested know how, combining the disciplines of the east and west. MMA/BJJ offers dynamic training working at all ranges, from strikes to grappling. This is a great activity for adults who are looking for something different. |

Personal protection know how for the home, workplace and in the streets. Based on the effective Dynamic Combat system for law enforcement and security personnel, our Quick Defense and Tactical training programmes provide effective solutions for individuals and security personnel. Avoid and diffuse potentially dangerous situations with simple and effective personal protection techniques. |

Our Sambo division oversees Sports, Combat and Special Sambo training. Sports and combat Sambo are gaining popularity with numerous competitions organized world wide while Special Sambo is practiced by security personnel. The wide repertoire of techniques including leg locks also makes for an effective form of personal protection. |
Getting Started
We offer a number of classes throughout the week for adults and children from as young as 4 years old. We also offers trial options, especially for younger children, so you don’t need to make a huge financial commitment up front if you feel that it isn’t right for you.

Newcomers will be required to register for a two (2) session trial package at $90.00 to assist us in assigning the most appropriate class / level. Participants should be comfortably attired in T-shirt and shorts / sweatpants.

A registration form must be completed and submitted to the instructor prior to joining a class.

Confirmed participants will be required to be appropriately attired for training.
Signing Up
Classes are ongoing throughout the year with scheduled breaks during term and no classes are conducted during public holidays. Separate programmes are available during term breaks.
Course fees are payable in advance, per term / quarter, and vary according to location. Newcomers may enroll at any time and the fees will be pro-rated from the point of entry. No credits, make-up classes or refunds will be entertained in the event of missed classes.
