What To Expect
Each session will be based on a Padded Weaponry exercise syllabus. This syllabus has been designed primarily to encourage regular exercise and provide the trainee with basic self-preservation skills. These exercise periods will be combined with group games and competitions, to develop motor coordination skills and self-confidence.
- warming up
- conditioning or training phase, which consists of routine including basic strikes and blocks techniques, and sparring with headgear
- cooling down exercises
- Improving the students' flexibility and endurance
- Building confidence and self-esteem through competition/sparring
