What To Expect

Lesson Description

Each session will be based on a Padded Weaponry exercise syllabus. This syllabus has been designed primarily to encourage regular exercise and provide the trainee with basic self-preservation skills. These exercise periods will be combined with group games and competitions, to develop motor coordination skills and self-confidence.

Lesson Plan

  • warming up
  • conditioning or training phase, which consists of routine including basic strikes and blocks techniques, and sparring with headgear
  • cooling down exercises
Lesson Objectives
  1. Improving the students' flexibility and endurance
  2. Building confidence and self-esteem through competition/sparring
Organisation of Lesson
 
Equipment and Training Aids: Impact safety mats.
 
Attire: Prescribed uniform preferred.
 
Safety Precaution: First Aid kit will be readily available.
